Aisling Bea

Aisling bea, born in Kildare Ireland on 16 March 1984 is Ireland's richest and most well-known comic. She was featured on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, better than the stage name Aisling Bea (born March 16, 1984) is an Irish actress, writer and comedian. Bea started her stand-up career in the year 2011, following appearances in bits in several Irish TV shows as well as British series since the year 2009. From 2012 on Bea began appearing on sketch comedy shows or sitcoms. After her victory in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was booked for a variety of panel programs. She's a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats since 2016 and she is a popular contestant of its spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents were Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is her younger sister. She was the only female winner of So You Think You're Funny in 2012. Bea is her maiden name to honor her late father. Aisling O'Sullivan, also known as Cliodhnadh Aisling, was born at Kildare town in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian is an equine doctor who killed himself when she was just three. Bea didn't learn how the death of her father occurred until she turned thirteen. The stage name she chose was Bea to pay tribute to her late father. Bea also published an article published in The Guardian on her family's suicide story. Bea's mother Helen She is a jockey-trainer and former pro jockey was responsible for the care of her daughter and Sinead. Her family were in love with racing meetings and horses. Bea was a guide at the Irish National Stud in her young years. But she was aware that it wasn't what she wanted to do for a living and that she was more interested in performing.
